Meet Our Founders:
A Vision Built on Lived Experience by a Homegrown Team
At Angels of Hope in the Central Valley, we believe that the most effective solutions are designed by those who have walked the path. Our leadership team represents a powerful fusion of professional expertise in real estate, military service, and correctional rehabilitation—all rooted in a shared commitment to restoring lives in the Central Valley.
Eduardo Nuno
Founder & Program Director The Architectural Force for Reentry
Eduardo is a Central Valley Native whose life is a testament to the power of transformation. After navigating 15+ years within the California Justice System, Eduardo refused to let his past define his future. He dedicated his incarceration to mastering the complexities of business and real estate, preparing for a future where he could build, rather than just survive.
Upon his release, Eduardo faced the "reentry reality check"—despite his education and work ethic, he was met with systemic barriers to housing and employment. It was the blessing of family support that provided him the stable "Bed" he needed to get on his feet. Realizing that 80% of individuals exiting institutions lack this crucial safety net, Eduardo founded Angels of Hope to fill that gap. Today, he leverages his real estate expertise to manage a 75-bed network that serves as a launchpad for those rebuilding their lives.
"We aren’t just managing Programs; we are building the family support system that I know, first-hand, is the difference between recidivism and success."
Jessica Rangel
Co-Founder & Program Coordinator The Bridge from Service to Success
Jessica Rangel is a U.S. Army Veteran and Central Valley Native who has turned her personal journey of resilience into a mission of advocacy. Having navigated the profound challenges of a service-connected disability, depression, and substance use, Jessica understands the "real-life barriers" that stand between a Veteran or a person in transition and their potential.
Her recovery was about reclaiming her purpose. Today, Jessica leverages over decades of experience in Case Management for Non Profit HHSA Funded Child Care Services Case Management, Non Profit Substance Abuse Program Case Management Services in the Male Adult Prison System, Substance Abuse Program Case Management Services with the Youth in the California School Systems, Migrant Seasonal Farmworker Outreach and Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Representative; both Outreach efforts for the State of California under Department of Labor Federal Funding. As a DOL-VETS Certified Representative she served as a vital bridge for Veterans re-entering the civilian workforce. She began her Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministry and Leadership, providing more than just administrative support—she offers strategic mentorship and purpose driven guidance. Jessica ensures that pathways are created so that no one struggles in silence, proving that with the right structure and partners, every member can find their way to subject matter expert support.
